Clickbank Terminology

Ok, so what do all the terms mean in a Clickbank add? An example:

So we got the terms: dollars per sale, percent per sale, percent referred and gravity. Let's look at these Clickbank terms one at the time.

1. Dollars per sale shows you how much you will make on each sale. In the perfect scenario you want products that pay the most commission. This counts especially when you try to sell the product using Adsense, since this will cost you money. But it is not always the most important factor.

2. Percent per sale is the percent of the sale that the affiliate wil get. 50% is the least commission you want for a sale. Some products pay as much as 75% or more. However competition is high on these products.

3. Percent referred is the percentage of all sales that come from affiliates. This is a very important figure and usually coincides with the next stat. Ideally, you don't want to compete with the products where 85 to 90% of the sales are coming from affiliates.

4. Gravity probably the most important figure. This figure tells you roughly how many affiliates are promoting this product. So if you are looking for products with little competions, grafity shouldn't be higher than 20!

So pretty much the products we are looking for:

Dollars per sale - $20 or more
Percent per sale - 50% or more
Percent referred - Less than 70%
Gravity - Under 20
